As part of the National Gallery of Ireland’s Teacher and Schools Programme, the Butler Gallery hosts a Study Day for Leaving Cert Art Students.

The morning session covers The Renaissance, Impressionism to Abstraction and Modern Irish Art 1890 – 1960, reflecting the strengths of national collections and as a response to specific requests from art teachers. In the afternoon the Butler Gallery holds a series of interactive workshops in the Gallery’s Barrie Cooke: Portraits exhibition. Booking essential. Please call the Gallery for more information.
